Cloud connector
(BETA Version)
Overview
The Cloud connector is a new BETA feature that allows you to connect to the Macula Professional servers with Macula Monitor and Macula Console through the dedicated cloud instance. Such a connection may be helpful when access needs to be granted for a short period and/or the network configuration does not allow a direct connection. We provide our cloud instance to punch a hole or use UPnP while providing a trusted connection between the server and client applications.
PLEASE, CONSIDER THAT YOU ARE USING BETA VERSION OF THIS FEATURE. WE CAN'T GUARANTEE IT'S STABILITY. ALTHOUGH WE ARE HAPPY TO RECEIVE YOUR FEEDBACK THROUGH OUR SUPPORT ENGINEERS, SOME ISSUES MAY BE RESOLVED ONLY WITH THE NEXT RELEASES.
Connecting Macula Monitor to the Server via Cloud
You can connect to the preconfigured server using the provided token. If you have such a token, go to:
Macula Monitor -> Connection and click the + Cloud server (beta) button

Paste the token into the dedicated field. If the provided token matches the format, a new pop-up window with the server list will appear. If any prior connections were established and the token wasn't unregistered on the server side, you can select it from the dropdown menu and reconnect.

Select the Server from the List, provide the Username and the Password, and click the Add Servers button. Establishing the connection may take a few minutes, so wait until the connection status becomes "Connected."

As soon as the connection is established, the new server will be displayed in the Resource tab like any other connected server, and all the cameras will become accessible in the connected monitor. Feel free to use its Resources as with the usual connection!
If you see connection errors, make sure the time is set properly on both, server and monitor systems.
