SNMP Settings

Users can use an external network management system to receive ECA events via SNMP. To enable the SNMP in ECA, navigate to "Management > Settings > SNMP Settings". The following protocols are currently supported: SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3.

The following protocols are currently supported:

  • SNMPv1

  • SNMPv2c

  • SNMPv3

Enable SNMP

  1. Tick Enable SNMP Agent.

  2. Click Add Trap Receiver button.

  3. Configure the following parameters:

    • Enter Host address (or IP address)

    • Enter the Port number of the host

    • Select the SNMP version

    • Enter Community name

    • Click Save Button

ECA MIB Files

GSF provides ECA's management information base (MIB) files; importing these MIB files makes SNMP monitoring easier by labeling raw numeric OIDs with human-readable names.

The ECA MIB files can be obtained from the following paths on the ECA system:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GSF\ecaOS\Services\MqttSnmpAgent\MiB.zip
