Enable Network Ping Response (Echo Request)
By default, ECA does not response to network ping request. Follow this procedure to enable the Echo Request rules in Windows Firewall, so that ECA can response to network ping request.

In Windows Start Menu, type 'wf.msc'. Then, click on the wf.msc icon in Best match.

This opens the Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security. Go to Inbound Rules. Look for the following six rules that are already existed: • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In) - Domain Profile • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In) - Public Profile • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In) - Private Profile • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv6-In) - Domain Profile • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv6-In) - Public Profile • File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv6-In) - Private Profile Select all the six rules. Then, right-click and select Enable Rule.

The ECA shall now be able to response to network ping request.
