Microsoft Remote Desktop

Enabling Microsoft Remote Desktop allows connection from a remote PC.

Enable Microsoft Remote Desktop on ECA Machine

  1. In ecaOS Dashboard, go to Support.

  2. Click the Start button for Microsoft Remote Desktop.

  1. The service status will become 'Started'.

To Establish Remote Desktop Connection

  1. On a remote PC or laptop, to establish remote desktop connection, launch the Remote Desktop Connection app. This app is by default available on all Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices.

  2. In the Computer field, insert the IP address of the target ECA, or the ECA DC number. Then, press Connect.

  1. You will be prompted for username and password. The default credential is:
