Layer Management
Layer Management is part of ECA Triple Layer feature, which allows user to perform Save Layer, Soft Reset, or Hard Reset.

While performing a Save Layer, Soft Reset, or Hard Reset will result in downtime for the ECA, meaning there will be no recording and access to the Dashboard will be unavailable during this period until the ECA completes the layer saving process and reboots back to ecaOS.
Save Layer
Save the current user's working layer as a deployment layer. This layer will contain all the current working settings. If the operating system becomes corrupted in the future, this layer can be used to perform a soft reset and deploy the previous working state.
Procedure for Save Layer:
Click on Save Layer

ECA will reboot and go to Layer Manager.

The saving process will begin after a 10-seconds countdown. To cancel the operation, please click on "Cancel".

The ECA will reboot into ecaOS once the saving layer process is complete.

Soft Reset
Selecting the Soft Reset option will initiate the loading of the deployment layer. This action will entirely overwrite the current working layer with the configurations preserved in the deployment layer.
Procedure for Save Layer:
Click on Soft Reset.

ECA wil reboot into Layer Manager. Restore Deployment Layer will initiate after 10-seconds countdown. If you want to cancel the operation, you may click 'Cancel'.

Restoration of the layer is in progress, displayed with a percentage.

The ECA will reboot into ecaOS once the Restore Deployment Layer process is completed.

Hard Reset
Selecting the Hard Reset option will initiate the restoration to Factory Layer . This action will entirely overwrite the current working layer with the configurations preserved in the factory layer.
All settings will be reset after Hard Reset. Use with caution.

Click on 'Hard Rest'
ECA wil reboot into Layer Manager. Restore Factory Layer will initiate after 10-seconds countdown. If you want to cancel the operation, you may click 'Cancel'.

The ECA will reboot into ecaOS once the Restore Factory Layer process is completed.

Last Saved Layer Information
Display the last date and time of the layer last saved.
